My couples told me that I have to tell you my name is pronounced "may-uh" because I never correct anyone when they call me "mai-uh."
I am a mother to two amazing children (Ava + our fur boy, Chubbs) and a FIANCE!!!! to my favorite guy, Eric. On October 26th, 2012; Eric and I had our first kiss and from that moment on, we've been inseparable. We went from friends who had no intentions of anything serious to falling in love and building an amazing life together; and I wouldn't want it any other way. We've been together for 13 years now and have raised an extremely brilliant 7 year old, purchased our first home, traveled to so many places and have our own businesses.
The best ways to win me over are very simple: sushi, old fashioned donuts, cinnamon rolls, a night of karaoke, a proper yap session and long warm hugs. I am so lucky to have such an insanely supportive family that pushes me to being the best for everyone - especially, myself.

4. I like to take things slow sometimes too -- we've been so lucky to have a home in Chicago where you can actually see the stars at night. Lounging in the backyard with Eric and just staring at the sky brings us so much peace and reminds us that although we're always on the move.. it's okay to take it slow too.
5. I repeatedly rewatch my favorite shows and it's very difficult for me to start a new one and actually finish it. There's a sense of comfort when I can tell you every word of a series because it's my favorite background noise.
6. A sweet treat you say? I will ALWAYS have room for a sweet treat. Life isn't great without one.
1. My ideal weekend would be filled with slow mornings, soaking in the sun, exploring, eating delicious food and non-stop laughter with my friends and family.
2. I love to travel and truly would not be able to function if I didn't have at least one international trip planned a year. Seeing the world and learning about different cultures and cuisine is my absolute favorite.
3. When I am not being your photographer: I am spending my days dancing in the living room with my daughter Ava, taking long walks with our fav boy, Chubbs and eating something yummy with my fiancee, Eric.
MEET MELI and ASHLEY
Meli is the kind of person who loves the little things in life—like a good cup of coffee in the morning, a spontaneous road trip, or a sunset that just takes your breath away. She is all about forming real connections, good vibes, and finding joy in the everyday moments. On a wedding day, Meli brings such a calming, light and dependable energy. Our couples can truly count on her to be there for them throughout the entire day. Her insane attention to detail truly comes from her being such a big empath and seeing the beauty in everything - especially, the smallest parts of a wedding day.
Ashley is our biggest romantic. She makes it a practice to romanticize life because she believes there’s always something worth noticing, feeling, or remembering. She has an immense love for music, dinner parties, traveling to new places (with a camera in hand, of course!), nature, and - more than anything - her family and community. On a wedding day, she loves capturing people as they really are... laughing mid-conversation, crying together, holding each other close, or letting loose on the dance floor. Our couples can truly count on her to bring a sense of warm, relaxed and reassuring energy to their wedding day. Ashley is so intentional and prioritizes connection, celebration and emotions on your day.

The best girls to have by my side on a wedding day!
While I don’t have 4 hands to do everything all at once, don’t worry - my girls are my extra pair of hands! On a wedding day, Kelly + Colleen are there to keep things going and running smoothly throughout the day. They are always either fixing all of the small details, assisting with lighting or keeping us on time. When Kelly or Colleen is there on a wedding day, my entire focus is on capturing your day as it unfolds. They are truly such an integral part of the team and I cannot wait for you to see why.
Kelly is the most efficient, go with the flow and kindest girl you’ll ever meet. On a wedding day, she just knows what I need or what my next step is without even asking me. I’m so focused on capturing your day when she’s with me because I know she’s got my back. It must be because she was one of my 2023 brides!! Colleen is our right hand girl that is always there when you need her (and even when you don’t, just in case). She provides our team with guidance, support and the best energy on your wedding day.
