Hey! I’m Meli. I’m the kind of person who loves the little things in life—like a good cup of coffee in the morning, a spontaneous road trip, or a sunset that just takes your breath away.
I’m all about forming real connections, good vibes, and finding joy in the everyday moments. Whether I’m capturing weddings behind my lens, dancing out at local concerts, or just binge-watching my favorite show on Netflix, I like to keep things fun and authentic.
When I’m not photographing love stories, or hanging out with friends (or snapping candid shots, because let’s be real, I’m the photographer friend), you’ll find me collecting cool ephemera to add to my junk journal! Life’s too short, so I’m all about making the most of every moment!
Meet ASHLEY
Hi, I’m Ashley! I make it a practice to romanticize life because I believe there’s always something worth noticing, feeling, or remembering. I have an immense love for music, dinner parties, traveling to new places (with a camera in hand, of course!), nature, and - more than anything - my family and community.
Photography is how I stay present. I love capturing people as they really are... laughing mid-conversation, crying together, holding each other close, or letting loose on the dance floor. Weddings feel like the most beautiful mix of everything I love: connection, celebration, intention, and emotion all wrapped into one day. It’s a joy and an honor to be invited in to capture them.
If I'm not documenting a couple’s story, you’ll probably find me haunting my favorite restaurants ordering the same thing every time (creature of habit), at a concert, baking something from scratch with an obscure video essay playing in the background, curating playlists for my friends, or cozied watching movies!

We will get a chance to get to know one another better on an onboarding call and you'll be able to ask any of the questions you may have. During this call, we will review packages and find one that best fits your vision.
BOOKING

Once you're ready to book, I'll send over your custom proposal along with a contract to sign + an invoice where you can pay the 30% non-refundable retainer fee. When this is complete, we are OFFICIALLY BOOKED!
ASSOCIATE PROCESS

We will connect you with your associate. Your complimentary engagement session will be with your associate so you get a chance to meet before your wedding day. The MLP Team will be there to help you along the way as you plan your day. The associate and a second photographer will capture your wedding day as you guys party the day away together - WHOOOHOOO!!
DELIVERY

You'll receive sneak peeks within a week of your wedding day. All of your photos will be edited by Mayah to truly give it that Mayah Lee Photography vibe.
