I am a mother to two amazing children (Ava + our fur boy, Chubbs) and a FIANCE!!!! to my favorite guy, Eric. On October 26th, 2012; Eric and I had our first kiss and from that moment on, we've been inseparable. We went from friends who had no intentions of anything serious to falling in love and building an amazing life together; and I wouldn't want it any other way. We've been together for 13 years now and have raised an extremely brilliant 7 year old, purchased our first home, traveled to so many places and have our own businesses. The best ways to win me over are very simple: sushi, old fashioned donuts, cinnamon rolls, a night of karaoke, a proper yap session and long warm hugs. I am so lucky to have such an insanely supportive family that pushes me to being the best for everyone, especially, myself.

My couples told me that I have to tell you my name is pronounced "may-uh" because I never correct anyone when they call me "mai-uh."
Becoming a Photographer was never in the cards for me...
and it's still so surreal to me that I get to capture your big moments to provide for my family. I'm a college drop out that never knew what I wanted to actually do career-wise. I worked various jobs from being a bartender to being a nanny and it kept me going. Then one day, I picked up a camera in hopes to use it to capture family photos of ourselves. Instead of taking said family photos, I started taking photos of my nanny kids, their dog and then my friends. Next thing you know, someone tells me my work is promising and that should consider taking this seriously.
4 years later and I am still shook to my core that this is MY life. I will never be able to thank my first clients for taking a chance on me and for my current couples to continuing to trust me with their most special milestones. Reflecting on my life, I always giggle about how far I've come because it's still insane to me that I am here. But, man oh man, am I thankful to be here. Being a photographer has brought me so much joy, adventure, fulfillment, new friendships and relationships that have been so meaningful to me. I will never take this gift and opportunity for granted. I'm so blessed to be here capturing your love.
